My Reflection For The Course

I have learned a lot this semester because now I feel I know more than I did not know before, making me happy and excited about learning more things. One example that reflects this learning is the use of the application of Ted. I created videos with this application, adding questions to make more interactive videos. It was a great discovery for me. I am learning how to use the application of Ed Puzzle.

In addition, I have learned from Miss Jessie that the website of Magic School has different resources. For example, we can create lesson plans with this fantastic tool because it saves us time. After all, we do not have time available as teachers. I use the learning tool to create a lesson plan. I couldn’t because I got lost. I dedicated myself to paying attention to what the teacher told us because I couldn’t use the tool.

I could create more interactive and dynamic resources for my classes. We need to be uploaded as much as possible. Also, I realized I gained more technology knowledge. I love Ed Puzzle because it was easy to use they were easy to use as well as an online board game.

I believe in the use of Technology. AI helped us save time. It makes it much easier to create videos in a few minutes. I remember when I was working with the application of Ed puzzle Because I pressed a button that created a video with AI, and the Machine immediately created a 3D video. I was surprised. I also remembered when I insulted the chat box, and the chat box responded to me and said you don’t need to insult me. I’m trying to improve every time I get so scared that I don’t try to insult the chat box again.

Learning to use edit puzzles and the online board game was a challenge. I could encourage that challenge by creating an account with my email account to save the changes made in the video and the game. It was a relief. I had lost all the work I did. It was frustrating. In the end, I had to redo my job, and then I saved it in the library and sent it to Google Classroom.

One of the significant limitations is the independence of internet use because we use the internet, and many schools don’t have internet access, which makes it complicated to work with the internet in the classroom. Another obstacle is the overuse of artificial intelligence for the simplest tasks, such as writing an article about any topic. Create activities designed for paper use And allow Artificial Intelligence to grab ideas for their written compositions. Make it clear that they can use AI for ideas.

Collaboration has had a positive effect on my learning because it has helped me to improve and correct some mistakes that I make. A classmate commented on my blog that I needed to give instructions so my students could understand what they had to do. They can apply it and comply with the test successfully. Additionally, I have improved my English, and I have polished my skills related to the language thanks to the feedback of my teachers and my classmates.

The program gives good ideas for creating a more engaging class for my students and preparing new material because I have discovered I don’t know applications that can help me engage my students and get their attention. In this case, English. I love the applications of Ed puzzles and Ted because anyone can make a video in a few easy steps, adding pauses, subtitles, and questions related to the topic of the video.

Many teachers are concerned about the cheating process, especially on exams and tests with AI. However, there are some ways that teachers control that in their classrooms, and one of the easiest ways is to establish rules and limits for the students. They create their own rules. Breaking down those rules they have made by themselves. Another way to use ethicality is by allowing the students to use the internet in class. One example can be doing an activity researching some information to investigate any topic that they want to know better. A game with an internet connection

Summary Of The Second Session Of The International Workshop

The teacher split the class into nine groups to discuss the ethics around Artificial Intelligence. The AI should describe the concepts, assisting the learning process, and teaching to go the right way. Artificial Intelligence is going to guide the learning process. It could replace the teacher´s role because we must correct its mistakes. We have to consider the copyright. Sometimes the machine could not give accurate answers and the interpretation of prompts. The 80 % of the things you search using Artificial Intelligence are correct. The 20 % left is often incorrect. It would help if you looked for bias. Always check for the appropriate tool. Double-check for accuracy and bias that ban citations and references. You can ask for assessment and feedback from the machine, according to the lesson plan and activities you made. Give corrections for writing. You can generate a rubric, questions, and answers using Claude and feedback. A Tool that can support the learning outcome. The model Samr. its meaning is substitution, application, and modification. You can use this new tool for learning in three different aspects. They are applied, modified, and improved. You have to introduce an activity applying technology.

I liked working in groups. It would help to see other perspectives and views on the ethical component of AI. In my view, watching the video on Artificial Intelligence before helped me a lot to be able to understand the topic. But, it was quite long. However, fortunately, we did not watch the full video because we got bored and distracted by another thing. It teaches others how to use AI ethically because it gives some other ideas about the topic. But we should understand how to use Artificial Intelligence before thinking about how to teach someone else about it. I was glad that we did have a break to breathe fresh air. I believe that we learn better by doing things. Even though, I change from group four to group nine untentionally. However, I did not create any activity using the AI platform since my activity does not require the Internet. It is based on an activity about recording an episode about The Flatmates that we did in class many years ago before Artificial Intelligence was created. I could use Gemini or Copilot to give an example of the activity. I adapted the activity according to a specific topic

Summary Of The First Session About The International Workshop

The international workshop is conducted by a North American professor called Jessee Gleason. The topic is Artificial Intelligence and personalized learning with AI In Education. First, she shows us the result of a survey about AI, sent previously to the workshop. Most of us are in the fourth year, and we want to teach between fifth and eighth grade, our knowledge about Artificial Intelligence, our favorite digital tool, our favorite thing about AI, and our biggest concern about Artificial Intelligence we get to know each other in different virtual groups, as it is an open workshop with Santiago and Concepcion. The teacher mentioned that there should be a balance in using Artificial Intelligence in education, considering the methodologies and structures used in the planning process. Also, the topic and tool used. Personalized learning with Artificial Intelligence, She asked for the meaning of SLA, which it is Second Language Acquisition, the principles of methodologies. Then. we developed the things that Artificial Intelligence can and can’t do. Ai can create a video, however, it cannot give a hug. Next, the teacher introduced us to two AI tools that we can use with our students called Magic School and Mizzou to create, edit, and share a lesson plan with their activities. We can see the interaction of the students with the machine and their progress. The students can even ask questions about Charles Darwin with the software. As homework, we have to make questions to another character and watch a video called The AI Dilemma

The class was interesting. I think it is important to know and use these different tools for teaching. I think that it was a It wonderful idea divided to us into different groups talking to my classmates as a breaking activity for the introduction of the class. It is great to have the chance to get to know some of my classmates deeply because we have classes together. However, we do not know each other very much. When the teacher asks for the meaning of SLA. I thought that it was a new Artificial intelligence tool and not a Second Language Acquisition. But it sounds familiar to me. This concept is seen in Methodology. The class was quite long. Even though, I did not feel it because we did a lot of different activities, such as listening to the teacher, working in groups, use diverse tools related to Artificial Intelligence. We have the opportunity to discover by ourselves what things Artificial Intelligence can and cannot do It makes me feel sad that we could not all the tools that the teacher introduced to us because one of them is not available in our country. I took a little bit more time to use the digital tools because I was trying to understand how to use the tools and follow the instructions of the teacher, but I could without any issue

Activity For Digital Content For B1 Learners

The original activity was a video quiz about cellphones and this activity is another video quiz about 5 impacts of technology in our daily lives. I used the TED Platform. The first activity consists of watching the video and answer the question below. The skill was Listening

I looked on Google the strategies for digital content. But in was convinced and then, I asked to Gémini and Copilot and I Chose the strategy of using a video from YouTube to improve Listening Skills for B1 learners.

https://ed.ted.com/on/VrTMtHDN

I will play the video three times. The first time with Spanish substitutes. The second time with English Substatitules and the third time without it. Then answer the questions. There will be three pauses for three times that the video will be played. So. The learners will be able to take notes or answer the questions
